| Dear Tom, I apologise for the delay in writing to thank your Rotary Club for the wonderful donation of a wheel chair for a young man who is presently a patient at the Sparrow Ministries Hospice in Poortjie. When I initially delivered the chair Johannes had been taken to Baragwanath/Chris Hani Hospital for treatment. Due to the severity of his illness he has lost the use in his legs and the donation of the chair means that he will now be able to return to his family. He has responded really well to the ARV treatment and the smile on his face, when I visited the Hospice on Thursday said it all. I am including some photos. Behind the chair is the Matron of the Hospice together with a care giver with whom I work closely. Many thanks to you and your Club for giving this young man a "new lease on life".
